Any more info on these, is the car in the image one of the three '68s built by Holman Moody ?  these had 427s, and were raced in

Europe under FIA Grp. 11 specifications, don't have any more info, I only have the '65-'67 registry, not the '68 & '69-'70, are they

 in there ?

I disagree about the wheels. For me 5-spokes look macho and belong on a real performance car. / 10-spokes look pretty and belong on a show car or a nice cruiser. Just my personal preference.

5 or 5 into 10 ('06 FGT BBS wheel) are my favorite. 10 spoke minilite (type) wheels work too. What I don't like are 4, 6 or 7 spoke wheels.

And how about three-spoke wheels, like on the early Vipers?   Yuk.

Great picture of that car, but, it is hardly "back-in-the-day".  Notice all the new stuff in the background.
I do like the 67 Shelby style hood.

This car raced for several years in vintage race events in the northwest recently.  It hasn't ran for the past couple of years, because the owner has been busy racing a CSX4000 Cobra instead.  I have heard rumors that the Mustang is coming back soon with a new motor.  It runs strong and fast!  The crew, driver and owner are great people.   Some of you may remember the CSX4000 Cobra at SAAC 43 start at the back of the field and finish up front in the main vintage race.

More information is on the owner's website:  http://www.vintagefordracing.com/

Youtube videos of the Mustang running a few years ago:

Interesting pic from the June 1968 issue of Car and Driver magazine.

Says the "Panther" race car was to be based on the Ford MkIV.

Pretty car - don't think it ever got past the prototype phase?

Without the wing, it kind of looks like a Bradley GT (mated to a VW chassis).

I think you're confusing the Bradley GT with the Coyote, which was based on the shape of a McLaren I believe.
