I like the '66 hubcaps on the front wheels on the '67 FB at reply #2325 ;D

Reminds me of my '70 Gremlin (first car) I owned with Appliance Mags on the back and smaller wheels/tires on front with factory hubcaps  8)

Wild days at KFC in '78 ;D

My double first cousin in on the left and me on the right. The car had a 6 cyl in it when I bought it for $250 and my step Dad and me put a 289 in it with a 4-speed😆😆
Ol' Grem-a-lemon (That's what my future Wife called it), would haul ass! 😎

The "Cat Diesel Power" hat is perfect.  I think I still have mine from that era.

My buddy with the Javelin street-raced against a Gremlin with a 401, one time.  Yeah, the Jav lost, big time.

Back in the day, I had a '74 Javelin, bright orange w/ white interior and the wide white coke-bottle stripes down the side with a white vinyl top and white letter tires. Had the 360 cu.in. engine, automatic, and I beat that car unmercifully (I would give trill rides to the fellow employees going to pick-up lunch, just to prove the tires never stopped spinning, even at the stop lights!  :o  ), never appreciated it, but amazingly it never gave me any trouble.          :)

Your Javelin sounds pretty close to my pal's Jav.  Same year/drivetrain.  But his was tan with a lighter vinyl top and a saddle interior.  The factory skinny bias plies would spin for a block.  Or so it seemed to us.  That car was bulletproof until his sister borrowed it and blew up the engine racing with the A/C on.  :o

Disgrace to the Mustang Badge😡😡

ChicagoChris

My family had the same green Oldsmobile 'Custom Cruiser' station wagon that is parked behind the yellow Mustang.
It hauled all 7 of us (including Grammy) from IN to FL for Disney World fun during Christmas vacation in '73.
Completely understand why my folks enjoyed martinis (and smokes-dad Lucky Strikes, mom Salems) at dinner every night!
Just don't make vacation trips like that anymore (thank God).
GREAT Pics!

Martini's??  Now we know your from upper NW😉

My folks down here in the South in the late 60's-70's drank Pabst BR, Budweiser and smoked those camels unfiltered and partronized the honky-tonks way into their early mid 40's😆😆.

Naturally I picked up where they left off. Now I'm in my late 50's. Just drink lots of water and cranberry juice 😆😆
