picture taken Tourcoing France, car registered in Belgium
That is my car in the pic. Car hasn't been registered in Belgium since the 70s. 3rd owner sold it to a
Frenchman and I'm the next titled owner and have owned since it came back from France in 1985. Gary

Hard for me to wrap my mind around the '69s not being coveted by enthusiasts.
I have been an enthusiast for 42 years now and always coveted the 69-70s. That is why I've owned my vert for 35 years now while owning other makes. In my 42-3 years of owning Mustangs first off the 64-66s were coveted and getting repo parts made. I enjoyed getting 69-70 cars and parts somewhat cheap. Then the 69-70s caught on and left the 67-8s behind until Gone in 60 seconds came out and the 67-8 Fastbacks jumped up in price. My recollection was that during those years the 68 KRs were always strong but the 67 GT500 was the red headed step child(coined by a friend and fellow SAAC member who owned like 5 67 500s at the time because he liked them and they were cheap and still has a few). Again, Gone in 60 seconds  came out and the 67 500s jumped in price. Like I said my recollection following the market since the late 70s. Gary

Looks like rope is used for tying down the Cobra. What could happen? Single axle trailer, likely without brakes.

If you look at most of the trailers used by SAI back in the 60's, most are very similar to this one.  Single axle, probably no brakes, and I've even seen scotches used and NO ropes, chains nor nothing :o

Trailer hauling safety definitely was not a priority.
