Is the flattening agent solid or liquid? Do you add it by weight or volume?

Adding 15% is in relationship to what?

Flattening agent is a liquid, but needs vigorous agitation as the solids will come out of suspension fairly quick. % by volume. IE 10%= 3.2 oz of flattener per Qt of spray able paint .

Funny in that I was just talking to a friend And retired coworker who does body work and paint. He just did a 79 Trans Am in gold and did the dash with a flattening agent. He used PPG Omni plus flattening agent. He likes it as much as Deltron at a cheaper price. It was still 38 bucks for a pint of flattening agent. I think he said a gal and a half of paint was 1200 for the car not including the clear.
