Sounds superb, sure would make a cool street car with minor mods. Thanks for posting.

It sounds like the previous owner did remove the factory parts prior to conversion to track use. Those parts are included with the sale, I'm just curious how long standing track use GT 350 owners view this vehicle.

That's a great find - best of both worlds really and kudos for the owners in storing the original parts (front wings as well, keep those vins intact)

Is this the Shelby that is mentioned in the Shelby Marque, Vol. 1, #2? (inside cover page) Was owned by Jim Jones in 1974?

If you look through all the gallery pics there are some nice pics if what is described as the original engine. Has the Cobra valve cover tabs seen in later 66's, the 715 carb is dated 622.

Second owner posted about his time with the car back in the 60's. Sounds like he was living the dream.

$11,000 more than the purchase price 18 months earlier.

I purchased  SFM6S1806, and it was slightly more than I wanted to spend, but from what I've gathered it's in very good shape. The fact it has most, if not all the original parts was an added bonus. I'm excited to be the new owner of this GT350 and look forward picking it up in the very near future. I don't know if anyone on here has been involved in 1806's maintenance/upkeep but I'd love to hear from you if have.
