It appears that Brian really helped with this car much like he did on the 1967 prototype GT 500 CV - information that otherwise may never had been found and shared.

We need him back posting on the boards

I completely agree!

His shared historical research has gone beyond what we can find elsewhere. I'm constantly referring to the documents and interviews posted on his website. The few times I have reached out to him he has always been receptive to my inquiries. He was clearly provoked to make the comments that got him removed. We all know that. Now that some time has passed, hopefully all the folks involved have settled down and can work it out.

Brian is welcomed to return to the forum, if he so chooses.

There was a "disagreement" a year or so ago, and some lines were dangerously close to being crossed.

..but that's "spilled milk under the bridge" and a closed issue.

In light of L'il Red.. it would be good to see him contribute

Have you told him this?
Last he told me was he hoped one day to be able to be back.
I , for one, will let him know.
Others feel free to do so as well.
cheers

I'm very happy to hear this is getting left in the past...guess it's up to Brian now.

He's probably still in Detroit drooling over Little Red and the rest of the Woodward cruise.

Reading through numerous posts this morning we find this one. I had noticed Brian had not posted as often as he did, but thought he was extremely busy with projects, life and most importantly his family. Truly dont know what happened  and done care. But I will say that he is truly the number 1 Shelby aficionado. His passion is second to none. Brian we need you.

Let me join my voice to the "please come back Brian" chorus.

There are those that contribute and those that don't - "givers" and "takers" if you will - and Brian is most definitely a giver.

He has graciously shared all of the XR7S, XR7-G and GT-E information that he as uncovered in his extensive research with me and the Mercury Cougar community at large.
