67 Steel Wheel color

On the 67 hubcap cars, is the wheel color semi-gloss black or something a bit shinier?

OF course with cleaning and rubbing you can get semi-gloss to have a higher reflective quality and there was likely some small amount of variations in the original painting - daily mix, weather, amount of product applied but as mentioned on untouched originals found most in the mid range of semi- gloss

Thought this might be the best place to post this.

I understand that Ford sourced their valve stems from Dill.
On the hubcap cars these were either 1.25" or 1.5" inches long.
Are there any exterior features of any note?
I assume due to the hubcaps that there might be extenders?
Any features there?
And lastly the cap. Does the cap have a small tit? I thought it did per the pic below.

You can tell the modern day extenders from the ones used during production. The modern ones have a white plastic ball valve that is easily distinguishable once you know what to look for . The ones used during production had metal silver ball valves that is just as easily to tell that it is different. They were made well into the 70's and maybe later because I pick them up at swap meets from the tool vendors who sell surplus.

I've heard of people painting the balls with silver, but would prefer metal.

Any idea of valve and extender length on the 67s?
