Pinion snubber bumper

Short question gentlemen. Did the pinion snubber rubber bumper have a nut underneath it or was it simply a screw-in part?

"Molded in" threaded stud with nut.

Lol! I just ordered the Ford scripted one from Virginia Classic to go on the original metal snubbed but wasn't clear if nut came with it or that a nut was necessary at all.

Pretty sure there was a year they changed, early cars had fine thread and later cars had coarse thread

I believe it was early 68 production that it changed. Probably the same time that the style of 9 inch snubber shield changed in 68.
