Found this on Flickr today. Maybe Dennis knows the car ID from the MFG plate. (I'll post larger versions of the smaller photos)

Wonder what that mess of lines and parts are under the hood   :o  Maybe air horns ??

Monte carlo bar looks like a chrome one also.

Must be some Day #2 or regulation things going on for the country

I think it's an external brake booster on the front brakes.

 '66 chassis and I would guess the serial # to be between 700 and 900. Over rides and bottom logo tach ( though it could be a replacement) are my reasons.

 There is a caption below the second picture of the interior. Can anyone read Dutch? Free pair of wooden clogs for a correct translation.

I think you’re right Jeff, the canister appears to be plumbed to the back of the engine, would almost have to be vacuum. Looked online and apparently there are some vintage air horn’s that were vacuum operated.  That would certainly explain the weird hoses and what appeares to be two Horns in front of the radiator support.

Hello,

I am from the Netherlands and I will try to translate it. I asked if one of my Dutch Mustang friends have the article because the photo's have a small resolution so I it is hardly to read. Hope to place the English version soon.

Google translate;

Above the interior, which does not differ much from a normal Mustang interior.
Below the mighty engine. Note the stiffness tube across the engine compartment

Thanks very much for that. I was hoping it might give some further information about the unusual parts in the engine compartment. You win the wooden clogs.

The article states that Bernard Cahier as their correspondent organised the car. It also states that the car was driven for a period and seemed to be a bit worn out already in their view when they received it for a few days.

I learned last year from Howard that Bernard drove in 1966 6S341 to Le Mans occasionallly and had that car for promotional purposes.  Since the owner of 6S341  was last active here in Jan 2018 and presented his car in the 66 section, he might chime in and check his publiished car for some of the details (if they are still in or have been with the car.)
Could be still one of the later 7xx or 9xx vinned cars in line with gt350hr's earlier post.

I replied in the 65 section that I had already translated that article and posted the results on the (old) forum but it was probably this one instead. Not sure though. I kooked in my old files but couldn’t find it. I can try again, but as menyioned above, it’s hard to read.
