Console removal
« on: October 13, 2018, 10:18:04 AM »
Hey guys I'm trying to fix a sloppy feeling shifter in my 68 4 speed..What is the best route to go when removing the center console? I can tell someone has already bent the console trying to get it over the shifter and I do not wish to do anymore damage to it

    • And how many words have I got to say? And how many times will it be this way? With your arms around the future And your back up against the past You're already falling It's calling you on to face the music And the song that is coming through You

Remove the handle from the shifter.  Replace the caps an springs on the handle as that is most likely where you play is coming from. No need to remove console.
