Another driving Haiku
« on: October 23, 2018, 10:06:24 AM »
INTO THE NIGHT

Drive fast into night
Shifting gears never look back
Keep your line of sight.

Richard E.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Thanks Lad.  Just experimenting with Haiku poetry.  It doesn't seem to satisfy like western poetry.  It is so short unlike the challenge of a lengthy poem that conveys a message with clever rhymes.  Technically Haikus are not supposed to rhyme. and rarely do.
