Did Windsor produce 289 high performance blocks? My understanding is they were Cleveland only.

Windsor is 260, 289, 302 and small 351.  Cleveland is big 351 and 400.   BOSS 302 is a Windsor 302 Block with big 351 Heads.

The Top one is the Windsor, the bottom is a Cleveland.  Notice the size of the Valve Cover and the Thermostat Housing locations.

The Top one is what I call the small 351 (Windsor) and the bottom is what I call a big 351 (Cleveland).  Notice the size of the Valve Cover and the Thermostat Housing locations.

Yes, all hipo blocks were cast in Cleveland. None were C6AE castings either.

+1 NONE were C6AE castings.  It is VERY important to pay attention when a seller says "no vin". Various caps are being added to "regular" blocks EVERY day. Yes bare blocks and short blocks were sold and they would not have a vin but those sales were FAR less than the amount of vehicles made with them.
