Does anyone have any suggestions on what paint brand/color/code to use to paint it? I have read conflicting information on whether they are semi-gloss or satin black?

Some call satin, semi-gloss and some call semi-gloss, satin. Good think there is no egg shell involved?

I used "satin" poly. Looks about correct. The fire wall I believe is semi-gloss though. Definitely has a low gloss to it. Two different finishes for two different parts.

Throw in different paint mixture batchs being used and different humidity conditions etc. and you can get all kinds of subtle variations.
