Wallwork is very tough one...

I can find Monez, but it will take time

Pete, I'd love to see an ad from Al Grillo Ford, especially if it shows a GT500 convertible, white with black top and black interior, 4-sp, and air.

My Eminger Report shows it was ordered and was to have a saddle interior. The customer ended up settling for 01425 with the black interior.

I wonder if Grillo Ford would advertise a car that was ordered for a client

Marti Report shows the car was released on Feb 15, 1968.

The docs I got from Mongo are a little hard to read and I think they show that the car:
Shipped to or was Delivered to Lynn, MA on Mar 7, 1968.
Client may have taken delivery on Mar 19 or 20.

If it was on the lot, it might have been some time between Mar 7 and 20.

Anything on Al Grillo's passing would be interesting too. I often wondered how it was covered in the papers.

Pete,
It would be most excellent if you can find anything from Monez in 1968.
Thanks for the effort!

Finding specific cars is not going to happen. It took about 15 years to find the ad that had the orange Shelby. I will leave that to owners....it certainly wouldn't happen for free!

Not very many dealers listed out every car detail. In fact, very few did.

Yep, I understand. Just thought it'd be fun to find anything from my selling dealer, in 1968.

Much appreciated, whatever you can dig up.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .

Yeah, I thought finding a specific car was a stretch. I'd be happy to see any Al Grillo Ford ad for Shelby's or a Lynn, MA news paper article on his passing.
