I am a three day course graduate.

Two highlights occurred, this being 1993.

During the first day, He drove up in a Lincoln Mk. VIII coupe. He was saying welcome to the school and talking about the car. I mention that I was skeptical about air bag suspensions on performance application. He says, hop in and takes me out for a lap on the track. The Mk VIII duly responded to his driving inputs.

Day two, I was at lunch from the track and my 1986 Thunderbird Turbo Coupe wouldn't start. I noticed that the cam sprocket didn't turn during the engine crank. Some cam belt teeth had stripped. I call the school and they came and towed me back. I ordered a new Motorsport cam belt. Upon its arrival, they installed it the next evening. No charge.

It's sad his school is gone.
