A good friend lost one around 10 years ago and came close again a few days ago.

Yes sir,  He was actually the first person I sent it to.  I will for sure submit it again when I update the info on the car for the new "66" registry.

The San Diego Cedar fire in 2003 came within two blocks of our house. We would have lost it all except for the bravery of our neighbor and his water truck. With no help except his two sons they fought the fire all night and saved the while neighborhood. Our warning was 5 minutes so 1348 and my wife's 56 Thunderbird set in the garage. We know a lot of people who lost it all. We were lucky and grateful.

...found 6S1348 after a full year of searching. It was in a garage I passed every day on the way to work. I looked at cars in front yards, back yards, storage garages, in fields, and under trees. I found a 65 that had hit a tree and was bent all the way to the back...

Im sure you did notice the Krates!  Don't see to many of those here on this forum.  Mark Houlahan actually knew what they were as well. 

Of course I noticed all the Krates hanging there too.   8)
