1970 Shelby Horn
« on: November 14, 2018, 01:47:00 AM »
Hi, could someone please assist. I need to replace the “Hi” pitch horn on my 70 Shelby. I realize this is a standard Mustang part however I am wanting an original horn not a reproduction, looking on eBay and also various Mustang parts stores it seems that only reproductions are available. I understand from reviews that these are made in China and are of poor quality..? Are there any places I could try to source a good used original working horn or should I drill out the rivets and attempt to repair the one I have.  Appreciate any help.

Here is a DIY kit that others have used  https://www.zip-corvette.com/63-67-c2/electrical-system/corvette-horn-relays/64-75-deluxe-horn-rebuild-kit.html  . Apparently the parts interchange with other applications.
