I'm very happy to see that the Forum is back.  The loss of data is terrible, so many years of information lost.  But we soldier on.  Thanks to everyone involved in getting things up and running again.

Thanks to the "pit crew" for getting things moving again.

Wow, some very tough lessons there somewhere  :(

What a shame.. Thanks for all the hard work in restoring.  The Hipomustang site had a crash/meltdown maybe 5-6 years-ago and unfortunately it has never been the same.
Will old postings eventually be restored?

Thanks

Thanks for getting us back in touch with reality.

...found 6S1348 after a full year of searching. It was in a garage I passed every day on the way to work. I looked at cars in front yards, back yards, storage garages, in fields, and under trees. I found a 65 that had hit a tree and was bent all the way to the back...

Does the Wayback machine have any archived files?

I answered my own question after a bit of searching at least up to June 16 2017

There should be a way to reconstruct a good portion of the site from the wayback machine and cached google pages...while i know enough to be dangerous, i don't know the best way to go about it...i found this page http://techattitude.com/tips-tricks-and-hacks/how-to-download-pages-of-a-site-from-google-cache/ which way or may not be helpful.  But if not for reuploading to the site, maybe someone knows how to compile an old version of the forum into a searchable text file?  just a thought.

Wayback grabs snapshots of main pages, but rarely has the content behind them....so most are useless.

If any cached pages are found...and they contain significant info.... send the links and details to pitcrew@saac.com for evaluation.
