Raptor left 2 years ago Biggie (lots of electrical issues), I now have a Shelby F-150, 700 HP, but I need it for towing my car trailer around to the judging meets.......maybe I could sell a Corvette tanker....... 8)

Mecum predicts it will need $50 million to sell........https://www.mecum.com/lots/FL0119-359641/1965-ford-gt-competition-prototype-roadster

I would rather have a MK I with a fixed roof.

And with my income level, it would have to be a replica.

I am not sure I agree with your reading comprehension.  The link you posted indicates that a LeMans winning GT should fetch in excess of $50M.  They are guessing this will go for more than $11M.
Since Dana Mecum owns it, I think he should put his money where his mouth is and sell it with no reserve like they are always goading their consignors to do.

Dean Jefferies son sold it from the estate. This car sat under a dusty cover in his shop for years. Dean did a lot of studio cars Monkee Mobile, Green Hornet and about every SciFi looking car in every SciFi movie until the late 80s.

Here are some good shots with the Indy motor in it. https://solaros1.smugmug.com/Dean-Jeffries-19332013/Dean-Jeffries-19332013/i-jmT2bC8/A

I doubt the same methods apply to him but if he did, RESPECT he would have.
