Dad and I Picked up this 65 K Code Fastback that we have known about for a few years a couple Days ago! Gentleman we have a bought a few Mustangs over the years has had it tucked away in the corner of his Garage, We mentioned to him if and when he was ready to sell it to give us first shot. Well last week we got a call and made a Deal! The car had been raced since new and then was put in storage in 1968. 2013 the car was pulled out from the Gentleman that we got it from and he had again put the car back in to Storage (Reason for it only have 3,977 Miles). Since being stored inside all of its life the Car is in Amazing Shape having no rust and Orignial Paint on the Floors! We did end up getting the Numbers Matching Motor and trans with the car also! But it just comes to Show these time capsules are still out there! Here are few Photos of the car and us bringing it Home!

I remember a car like this sitting in storage near Lake Hopatcong NJ back in the early 80's, red too.

Instead of being part of the problem, be part of a successful solution.

Thanks for sharing, and congratulations on the purchase.

The Thunderbolt hood is great to see, since so many Fords in that era raced with those.

And great that you have a pic of it racing! I am jealous, as a few years ago I picked up a 66 k code coupe that had been raced and parked. While it came with the racing stable and driver name still painted on the doors, I haven't been able to track down a photo of the car from that period. (At least, not yet. Still searching.)

Nice historic piece! If it were mine, I'd leave it as is. So cool.

Some where some one is driving their collector car for the last time but they don't know it . Drive your car every time like it could be the last memory of it .
