6S061 Carryover just sold for...$400,000 plus commission...a new record ??

Yes, a new record for a production carryover. The only 1966 GT350 that I know of selling higher than this was the prototype 6S001 that hammered at $550,000 plus fees at auction in January of last year.

Wow, I got the impression that car needed a lot of corrections to make correct, which tends to bring the big $$   :o

I was there today and had a chance, to look it over and there are a number of items, that need to be
corrected. As for the selling price, it was knocked out of the park.

Of course most are slow to embrace when a car sells cheaply that a sinking tide lowers all also.  ::)
