1967 Shelby GT350 - 951
« on: February 04, 2018, 04:13:11 PM »
Yesterday, I made my way out to a car show located between San Antonio and Austin, Texas.  Yes, there is a huge up side to being in warmer climates...a February outdoor car show!

Here are some pics I took of a 1967 Shelby GT350 that was at the show - 951.
Nothing beats a classic!

Man!  This is so frustrating!  I can't get more than one of these pics to load, if 1 at all.

However, I think its because my files are too big.  I just posted 2 smaller photos to another thread with no problem.

I'll work on this, as I can promise that I took more photos of the car besides the Shelby Tag.  ;D

The white painted taillight panel on a blue car stands out. Hubcaps too!

Interesting to see they added A/C under the hood and the vents in the dash. They may have replaced the entire dash frame as it should be painted in parchment. I think the rally pack should be black though.

Thanks for sharing all the picture with the VIN number!

That's interesting (that the dash should be painted parchment) - I had no idea.  It's not often that you see a parchment interior car, I would think.  This was a first for me.

Adding A/C in Texas, good idea.

The dashpad should be black, but the rest I believe should be parchment including the steering column.
Also the inner doors should be all parchment, not just the door card/panel as shown in your pictures.

It's still a nice looking car and having A/C in Texas is not necessarily a bad idea.

Looks to me the carpet is badly faded.

Great car. Don has had it forever and decided to keep it as original as he got it. Where was that show?

The white painted taillight panel on a blue car stands out.

Is it painted or is it a Branda taillight panel left in its bare state?

It's interesting to see a trunk lid and caps fit as miserably as mine used to be.

The tail panel is definitely painted from what I could see.  It looked to be painted the same color as the top stripes.
