NOS Spalding Flamethrower Magneto

In 1963 and 1964 Shelby offered the "Stage III" option of a high powered ignition system for the COBRA competition folks. Running a coil for each bank of cylinders got you a "hotter spark" and better performance. IT looks cool and is definitely EXOTIC in the 60's Shelby era. It was a really expensive factory option in 1964 and very few sold over the counter at SA. Only the Shelby built team COBRAs and the high profile Dragonsnakes of the day had this option fitted under "Stage III". I was offered and bought this unit NOS in the original box with install instructions thinking someday I'd run it on a 289, but I have decided to let it go instead. It's bold and beautiful on a 289 running webers!l I'd like to get what I have in unit at $1300.
