Anybody familiar with this plug wire on AUTOLITE roll 7CN 65 date?

While sorting out ignition wires for my project I found this roll of steel core wire on AUTOLITE metal roll and wire is dated '65. I looked in my books and did not find it listed . I figure early high performance application,but no reference found. Any help appreciated

I have a roll that is dated from 1962, not sure of the application either.
