KR Dzus spring installation
« on: February 19, 2019, 05:30:19 AM »

Quick question regarding the Dzus spring installation on the locking bracket of the KR Hood Pins.

One of my Dzus springs is loose making the lock down difficult. What is the correct finish on the rivet and what type of rivet is correct?

Pictures will help thanks

The rivet is natural aluminum.  It is a solid head type rivet.

Interesting.  The three sets I have drilled out were steel, not aluminum.

Of course you can.
I read the question as referring to the rivets holding the wire to the L bracket on the radiator support.  However, if the question is about the hood twist plates/discs, then those rivets are aluminum.
