Meanwhile I actually posted to a real, bonafide thread on some real Shelby subject matter.
It's not like I'm posting stuff just to get my post count up.

Oh, wait a minute ...

Do the SAAC membership lists exist from 1975 onwards?

From what I understand, no. There wasn't any point in keeping track of who used to be a member back then. Membership lists were just updated periodically and basically used for mailing out the newsletter/magazine.

If you expired, you didn't get one 'cause you weren't on the list anymore.

As a matter of fact it might be that it took 30 years before Rick figured something might be going on? OK, OK...maybe 25 years?  :)

I think he figured out right away what it felt like to be babysitting a bunch of misfits. His stint as a continuation high school teacher probably helped.

I think this is the ghost of CaptDave haunting this Forum?

It's just a continuation of his useless postings.

I'm going to get the Witch doctor Bob Gaines used on me to make it stop.

I should have known he would return to haunt us all? :'(
I'm not CaptDave but yes, this thread was a useless posting.

Just having a little fun and trying to lighten up the forum.  Especially after such a historical loss of knowledge and information.

Thank goodness I'm no longer the dreaded "newbie"  ;D

I'm not sure if having my Member being called Jr. is much better than being called Newbie.
Than again, having it called Full ...
