"I" do not believe that is a '60s part. It is a much later "creation".

+1. I have one that I bought about 10 years ago on account of the logo . It worked for about 5 years before it unceremoniously stopped working . It is sitting on the shelf now.  I can't bring myself to throwing it in the trash.

I have a slightly used/stained CS toilet seat, how much is that worth?
This smells of ebay/facebook BS

I have one used by the late Don Araki ( rip) from the '69 T/A season.  No CS logo and a FAR more accurate gauge. Not worth $999 either.

But it said, "Your friends will be SO jealous."

Either way $999 is cuckoo bird.    Bob, I think you should contact this guy.  If he thinks his is worth that much, then your broken one has to be worth half that much. ;D
