     Yep, I still have the V.I.N. plate from a 1969 Cougar "R" code (O.K., it's not a Shelby) hanging on the wall that I pried off the car as it rested (& rusted) in the junkyard.  It was my 'free-bee' after I removed the "N" case from it.     :)

I removed the door plate from an X code 68 fastback many years ago. It literally was marked for crushing so it was shortly a block of Scrap

Coulda been a Shelby owner many times in the 80's/90's. Was always so close but yet, so far away for me......
