one more time, the pot with tea is being mixed or has been already brewed with all the correct stamping, vins, intricacies, patina, paperwork,  documentation, witnesses, history, etc. that will be untraceable

why? because an expert, master craftsmanship, member of the guild, true renaissance man will be or has been involved

we call once again shananigans...

"Untraceable" ist just an opinion, not a fact.
The good thing is that with the majority believing in a cold case, the few with an open mind have a better chance to find it 52 plus years later😉
I had the fortune to be part of a few such projects. It is really thrilling and fun.

Extensive Google search reveals Ray Wolff imported at least in 1968 a venezuelan Mercer race car and by 1980 he was still around in the race scene or maybe even the Duesenberg restoration scene.

Found the attached business card image in my photo library...

Also, someone was driving it too. Because the mileage started at 14k in 1970, and increased to 15k when it was last advertised in October 1971.

you know i am starting to believe that it may truly come back

rumors say that a family of four has been seen recently driving it

all kidding aside, if it comes back whomever introduces it to the world i assure you has dotted ALL the i's and crossed ALL the t's....not even the best of the best will know it's not real
