I’m just taking a long shot here. Does anyone on this board have a good relationship with an Authorized Rolex Dealer? It seems there is a world wide supply shortage, and unless you know someone, you are out of luck. I’m sorry this isn’t car related, but I am looking for a ‘Daytona’ among other possibilities, so that kind of fits.
Thanks
Brian,
There are numerous authorized Rolex dealers in the San Francisco Bay Area CA. I have my stainless Daytona serviced by Shreve & Co. in SF, an authorized dealer who forwards it on to Rolex in LA.
There is also Davidson & Licht in Walnut Creek Ca as well as Fortane' in Carmel (which is where my wife bought mine).
A black dial S series model 16520 all stainless from 93-94 (mine) also known as a "Patrizzi" now has more than tripled in value in today's vintage Daytona market since it was new.
If you are seriously looking for a Daytona by it from an authorized dealer only. Is what I would recommend.
Cheers,
