Nicely done!  Years back, I took my daughter to our local
HS parking lot for a drive in the 65 k code fastback.  Of course,
manual transmission.  It took a while, but she got the hang of it.
Priceless memories!

Congrats Ron! That's a fantastic story. Thanks for sharing! 👍🏻

Here's a complete side shot from today. Dave is spot on - the side stripes make it.

What's funny? My wife's response, "I liked it better without the stripes."  LOL.

It's the little touches, like an original Mel Burns plate frame that a fantastic forum member sold me. Thanks!

Here's a before and after side shot.  I'll eventually touch up the paint in the rear quarter among other things.  It is fun to see the original red peaking through at the back.

It's hard to believe she's gained over 1,200 miles between pictures!
Nothing beats a classic!

Wow, big difference!

Is it true that the GT350 with A/C did NOT get an oil cooler?

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Great job Ruben, that car found a good home with you.

Great question, Rich.  I'll let the pros answer that one, as I'm not sure what the letter of the law is on this one.

Looking good, Ruben!   So, after another 1200 miles, it'll look even better?   I like it they way it is :-)

It is true that no regular production GT350 with A/C got a oil cooler. Only GT500 with AC got a engine oil cooler.

Thanks for confirming this Bob,

The oil cooler wasn't listed on a SVO sheet set for the GT350 with A/C, so I assumed it wasn't on them.
Then I thought maybe it was not a Ford installed part, but rather a Shelby American installed part.

I'm still searching for the SVO (add/delete sheets) for a GT500 with A/C (401F 411F, 403F or 413F) to see if an oil cooler is listed with a Ford part number.

(Ruben; sorry to side track your post. Keep up the good work. I look forward to your next 'improvement'.)
