Betty Hogg's 427 Cobra, CSX 3154. She inherited it from her husband, the late Tony Hogg, in 1983. He bought it in 1967. Its on exhibit at the California Automotive Museum, Sacramento, Betty and Tony's son John does routine maintenance - oil and filters, drain the gas tank, add fresh gas, etc. John and his wife Barbara drove this Cobra around Laguna Seca when Shelby was honored.

That is one of the rare "skinny fender 427's".

I'm thinking that's CSX 3274 with Doug McClellan's MI plate on it. Mid- '70s.

I posted these pictures a couple years ago of CSX 3134 that I took back in about 1979. In more recent pictures that I've seen of the car it has a plain hood with no scoop, in these pics I took it had a little bubble on the hood. I believe the car is now owned by Colin Comer, or was a few years ago. Is it known as to why this hood was put on the car at some point, and did the bubble serve a purpose?

Was there damage that was being repaired, or why was the hood replaced? I assume the original hood would not have had a scoop since that's the way it is now?
