A few photos of CSX3022, an original 427S/C "semi-competition" roadster, taken by me at the Cobra Experience museum in Martinez CA, June 2015.

I've "known" that car from before it was delivered new. VERY interesting to see it's current condition.

This is 3239 at Shelton Sports Cars in Ft Lauderdale in the mid 90s. They either bought or consigned it from Dr Segu in PA. Apparently he didn't drive a stick and the car had been idle for some time. I was told vermin had nested in the side pipes. It had about 5000 miles on it when I bought it and was a very good car. It did need some mechanical attention so we built a high horsepower 427 for it and freshened the mechanicals. That engine may still be in the car. I sold it at B-J around 2000 for $227,500 hammer. We've come a long way.

That car comes with a very original spec 428 engine. Surprised if it wasn't installed for the auction that it wasn't even mentioned, as it would be desirable for many buyers to have on hand for 100% "day 1" correct

Dmxf, I was not aware of that. It would certainly be a plus in the current environment of correctness. The car has recently sold btw.
