Oil pressure sending unit
« on: April 12, 2019, 09:08:42 AM »
I’m looking for an oil pressure sending unit for my 69 GT350 does anyone have a good source?  Also what is the resistance for the proper sending unit? I’ve seen the bell type marked both 80 and 100. Thanks   Dan

Thank you Bob.  But I’m looking for a sending unit and the auction doesn’t include the sending unit

  Dan ,
Are you looking for one with the black rubber cover?  PM if you are as I have them in various states of "experience" and or NOS in the box.

I think the originals were the gold colored bell style senders.  They pop up as NOS on eBay pretty often.  I don't know the resistance.

Randy, those are the SW gauge senders with the rubber boots.

The 69 Shelby used a bell shape Ford sender (zinc dichromate finish) . The assemblyline senders had the trademark  FOMOCO in block letters inside a rectangle.

  Thanks Bob ,
I wasn't "positive" so I asked. All good now.
