Very interesting article and photos. Even more important (in my eyes) than the 'Mustang I' photo is one of the other photos inside Lance Reventlow's shop.
After his business was essentially dissolved by the IRS, he leased the building to Carroll Shelby.
This of course is the Venice / 1042 Princeton Ave location.

Here's a Reventlow letterhead from 1042 Princeton Drive. Shortly after this 8/10/1962 date he leased the building to CS.

Wonderful stuff, and there has got to be a ton more where these came from.

Also love the shot of Roth's Mysterion under construction and a very young Stanley Mouse airbrushing "Monster" shirts.

Mouse created "Fred Flypogger" (a precursor to Rat Fink) and went on to create some iconic music related posters out in San Fransisco.
