67 GT 500 4 speed shifter rebuild

I'm in the process of rebuilding the shifter in my car.   Have it dismantled and ready for plating. Was wondering if someone could provide the correct platting of the shifter control, shift rods and bracket to attach the control to the transmission?
The shifter box and arms appear clear cad or zinc?  The rods look like phosphate and oil and the bracket was painted black. Don't know if the previous owners had done an prior work.  Thank you for your help.

You have all of plating correctly identified except the plate that bolts to the transmission. It was typically bare steel.

I'm putting together pieces for all parts of my linkage and would like verification on the finish of some pieces. I'll replicate some of the above for completeness.

The 60-68 MPC has the best pictures and details of the various pieces so I'll attach a pic in order to reference the pieces.

The control box -- As mentioned in the above post:
* All of the thick, stamped steel pieces are Cad plated
* The 7241 through-pin is plated
* The 7C383 spacer is plated
* The bolts are plated
* The 7C307 spring is natural
* The 7227 spring appears to be natural
* The washer and clip to the outside of the 7227 spring are plated
* 7348 is plated
* 7C383 near b-u light wire is plated
* The 7219 7210 horse shoe is natural.
* The through pin for the horse shoe is PO

Parts on the control box end of the linkage rods. These are the adjustment parts:
* Cotter pin is plated
* Flat washer 44727-S is zinc
* Wave washer 351467-S is spring steel so PO or blueing
* Adjustment pin 7353 appears to be PO
* Adjustment nut with built in washer is PO

Linkage rods themselves are PO.

Parts on the transmission side of the linkage rods:
* The 7289 levers are natural
* The flat washer and lock washer that bolt the lever to the internal shift shaft are
Zinc
* The wave washer and flat washer that hold the linkage rods to the lever are PO
* The hairpin clip is PO

I think that's everything. I'm not an expert on these, only trying to  put together a list, so corrections would be appreciated.

Blue is correction to a typo or new data.

I agree with your finish assessments. 7C383 is plated also.

  I have some of the parts listed in NOS. The 7A111 selector pin is natural finish. If you don't remove it from the cross pin , the plating will not hurt it at all. Just make sure the selector pin is not worn. I have an NOS 7210 horse shoe that is plated . Many other ones "in service" are natural . The plating call out "could" have bee added for rust prevention on service parts.

Thank you Bossbill for providing additional clarity.  After reviewing your list I find I am short the 7C307 spring.  Can you tell me its purpose and where it is positioned on the shifter control?

It's on the backside of the shifter body (toward the tail shaft).
I believe it's used to apply some pressure to the shaft and prevent the shaft from rattling. It's metal to metal contact with no bushing, so that's my reasoning.

I'm sure others will offer their thoughts.

    I want to check my MPC to see if the exploded view for the four speed shifter is the dame ( component wise) I don't recall seeing the 7C307 spring. I could be wrong and it wouldn't be the first or last time.

I checked a control box on an earlier T-10 and the 7307 is not present and holes are not either.

Update list for flat washers and lock washers.

Pic of the Shelby's clean control box and a T-10 control box which came out of a 65, but the control box and T-10 year is unverified.

On edit -- I should mention that the finish on the clean control box appears to be a phosphate coating and is incorrect. The finish on this part should be Zinc plate.
