Guys,
Have a set of large 31 spline axles from Coopers 45 year collection.
Yes, they have the small center like the early cars.

My question, what length fits into the BB 67-70 Mustangs ?
Proper way to measure?
Measure from the end of the axle to the liner stub that the brake drum fits over?
Would appreciate help in ID, so I will not make an error when I list them.

BTW, what might be a fair asking price for the pair?

John, according to my notes, the LH should measure 27 1/16",  the RH 31 1/8". Sorry, no idea on dollar value.  Measurements should be from front face of wheel flange to tip of splines.

Not really worth much imho. Probably $100. Let me know how to pay 🤣😆😁

Utah John:    you might have the runout checked on these.  These are the only axles Ive ever had issues with the flanges being bent.  If they are straight and the splines arent twisted a good core set should be $500.  restore them properly and you can get more

Guys,
Thanks for the replies>> and help !

I think that the axles are not for Mustang / Shelby. Glad I checked.
The specs that goat 12 posted, are not the lengths of these axles.

Face of axle to end of splines is 28, or 28 1/16th inch, best I can measure.
The wheel bearing exterior dimension is 3 inch.
The center of the axle drum guide is 2 1/4.

Maybe they are for a Torino or something?
Big Jim, thanks for the price info, the splines do not look twisted or distorted.
Would have to get the flanges checked.

I am sure that RickMustang was teasing me !!
Thanks for the help guys,
Guess Copper is out of luck, unless they can be cut back an inch?

BTW, do not have the long axle, thought one was longer, but they both are the short axles, crazy !!!
