Hi I was told on the forum that a registrar possibly can tell me if my car is a shelby or just a k code fastback  thanks

Hello Allen,

No, the 65/66 Registrar Howard Pardee will only give you a yes or no answer based on the Ford (5R09Kxxxxxx) VIN and the Shelby (SFM5S or 6S) VIN you submit to him.
He will not say what Ford VIN belongs to xyz Shelby and vise versa. Just and FYI.

   Before you contact Howard you might want to look and see if you have a hand stamped SAI Vin on the pass side apron , lowered control arms and override traction bars which would ALL be on a 5R09K chassied SAI built vehicle. If those are not there , you have no need to contact him . White exterior and black interior would be original too.
