The touring car Masters cars are very similar to our early Trans-Am cars. I was there in 2010 for the Boss Nationals with George follmer. We flew down for the Nationals and were treated like royalty. My friend Sean McDonagh who put on the Nationals got us all tickets to the Bathurst 1000 in the VIP tent at Turn 1. George was interviewed a couple of times while we were there. We were also given rides around the track in a Holden HSV GTS car with 426 horsepower. The driver was a professional driver from the class just below the supercars. George Went Out in one car and I went out in the next . We were flying around the mountain at a pretty good clip too. Here is a link to little article about George being there.
