66-67 GT350
« on: June 23, 2019, 12:46:27 PM »
I may be interested in purchasing 66-67 GT350 prefer 4 speed ,  auto ok. Must have original drive train.  Western U.S.   looking for a very nice street driven car with potential to win something at most shows.  long term ownership a plus as would be a private party sale.  Would not be interested in problems, projects or cars that have been rusty. I can be very hard to reach but please leave voice message and I will return your call first chance I get. Thank you.

You should probably place an amount down that you would like to pay or stay within.
That might get you some where.
Are you looking in the :
 80K range
100K range?
150K range?
200K range ?
Please do not come back and say it depends upon the car !!!!!!!!!
Automatics are always the cheapest to buy
Respectfully submitted.

john,
Thanks for your input. It is appreciated.
I have had several nice prospects reply to my ad . My description of what
I am looking for is pretty clear and 80K won't buy a car that fits my description.
I have owned other Shelby's. The owners I have spoken to have been more than happy to price their cars .
It does depend on the car as no two are alike. Thank you to those who
have replied.   And look forward to speaking with other owners who have been thinking
about selling.

Thanks were not needed,it was appreciated, and I thank you Dave.
I am glad that some have replied.
Some may be dealers, some may be flippers as they say now days, and some may be long term owners..

There are always cars for sale, but pricing always seems to be the determining factor for the cars originality and condition.

I can see that you do relate to market workings and have the knowledge & experience of past ownership.
You will find the car you are searching for.
Respectfully submitted,
John

Hi All,
just wanted to update my ad . We have had a few nice fairly priced cars that met the description
of my original post reply to the ad. This will probably be the last Shelby we own so we have been patient to
get the car that's right for us.  Our preference is shifting more towards 67GT350's .  We still prefer
private sale and your western U.S. location would be helpful.  Thank you those who have replied and look
forward to speaking with other owners who might be thinking of selling.

I am curious why you've listed the western part of the country. Is it the presumption that it will be rust-free?
