I recently acquired 3 BW T-10 aluminum transmission. They have M1 cases and M7 tails. Is there a way to find the original cars they came from? 1 no date, 1 7-65, 1 7-66. My Boss 429 trans have VIN stamped on top, I see nothing on these.
                               Thanks, Bernie

I have never seen any 65-66 GT350 with the serial number stamped on an aluminum T-10M.
Look at the assembly date which can give you a hint which of a block of seral number it can
have come from. At least the car can't have been earlier than the date.

Texas Swede is right no vins ever stamped on the aluminum transmissions date codes on the cover, case and tail would put a time frame ahead of  car production.  for '65 through the cutoff in '66 ( "around" 1,000 or so)

For some strange reason I'm sure, my original T-10 has my Ford VIN stamped in it. Rick
