Cars and Coffee, Morrisville, NC
« on: August 03, 2019, 12:31:10 PM »
Spotted an original KR out in the wild at a local Cars & Coffee this morning.  It sure got a lot of attention.  So great to see a '68 without 10 spokes for once!

I couldn't agree more.  I LOVE the look of wheel covers versus 10-spokes on a 68 Shelby, especially since it's harder and harder to see cars with the wheel covers anymore.
Nothing beats a classic!

A prominent SAAC member, who shall remain nameless, chose to bring "art" to a "car" show. And beautiful "art" it is.

I heard the English referred to them as "the worlds best Crumpet Catcher"

Certainly looks as though it caught a whopper.

Beautiful car!

She actually asked me if the seats were original, and commented how the early clam shell seats look uncomfortable.  I couldn't help but think she'd never find out as she couldn't fit through the open door!

Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"
