Was reading about the history of the 69/70 GTO Judge and read that the way to tell the difference between the 69 and 70 was to look at the front fenders and if they had "eyebrows", chances are it was a 70?

Lol, does anyone here know what this is about?  I Googled and haven't found anything about eyebrows on a GTO Judge :o
Just curious.

I think it refers to the fender-top decals.  If you look at the car from the side, the tires/wheels are eyes, and the fender decals are the eyebrows.

Of course, there are more changes between '69 and 70 than just those decals. Different grille/headlight design, side marker lights and tail lights, for instance.

I can't post a photo now, but will after the server full issue is resolved.   Or you can just do a Google search of 1970 GTO Judges.

I understand they're are several differences between the 69 and 70, but the story read that a quick check is to look at the "eyebrows", just threw me there for a second.

Thanks S.O.,

Happy to help, Rich.  I've owned a few 1960s Ponchos over the years.
