Thank you for the great photos.  We are bummed that we could not make it this year.  Where do send our popular vote ballots??!! ;D

The red 289 Cobra with Weber's gets my vote as best car there.

First lap of the vintage race. The GT 40 Mark IV went out with mechanical issues on the next to last lap. Red Mustang won.

For sale, but no price and I don't have contact. It was beautiful.

Didn't see the for sale sign the first time (on phone), was actually looking for chassis ID, I'll check with Mongo, thanks.....  8)

So, how many 69-70 Shelbys  were in attendance for SAAC 44?
We had 24 at IN SAAC Spring Fling!

Honestly , it was Shelby and Cobra overload for all years. I only captured a small portion of the cars there. If you wanted to see it, the car was there. From drag packs to 4 speed AC GT 350s, to verts and to white interior cars. And that was just the 69-70 cars😁

Here's a picture of the red GT that JD mentioned in his post.  I think the owners name was Tim.  He was an attorney from Naples Florida with another residence near Akron Ohio.  Said he had a few Shelbys and some other cars as well.  Must be nice.

Top three cars after the vintage Shelby race early yesterday afternoon.

And Chuck Cantwell talking to the race winner.  Got a chance to meet him and talk to him for a while just after that.  Super guy and a great way to end off my two days there!

I found these videos on You Tube. No idea who did them, but it gives a good scan of some of the cars and the run of the road course.

Wow, can't believe the number of Shelby's in 1 place! Went to SAAC43 last year in Sonoma hoping to see as many cars as I see in this Pittsburg video. Must say I was a bit underwhelmed last year for my first convention. Does car attendance typically vary this widely year to year?
