The $30k is just bait to get some interest in the car. 8)

Like I said “not real”

But, either a clever sales tactic or complete ignorance.

Either way I’m happy the car is out there

Prediction; they will choose the highest bidder.

Or possibly the highest REAL bid  ::)  Just like the real in person auctions at times  ;)

Pete, when you keep saying not real are you saying the asking price or the car!?
I’ve had lengthy discussions with the sellers and I really don’t think they had much idea what it might be worth and put a number out there they would be happy with...right off the bat someone overseas offered a decent amount more than $30k and the interest in the car has been overwhelming to them.
They will probably sell to highest offer because everyone says they will restore the car but time will tell if that happens

Not real means it is a fantasy that someone will buy a $30k Shelby off facebook.

You are now seeing why

Im not judging the car

Received a text from owners that car has sold pending receipt of funds....don't know the final selling price nor the new owner. I was told someone from Massachusetts looked at car yesterday....maybe Bret from Cape Cod Mustangs snagged another one!

I talked to the owner yesterday. I heard Bret got it. Another one for Cape Cod. Congrats Bret.

I’m sure it is obvious but just to be clear...
The pic Capecod posted isn’t the same car that started this thread!
