Maybe it was confined to the tow vehicle. If so it coulda been worse (glass half full)...

Chris Thauberger

Agreed, at least it was the truck. New ones are available all day long at the dealership.

Yeah,I think I  would run away from that as fast as I could, pretty sure serious burns would be quite unpleasant as well.......

+1 on that!!

Looks like the FB had some sort of fire damage at one point from how I'm seeing it.

Good thing it there shouldn't be allot to burn (unless the bed is loaded) at the rear of the truck keeping the fire forward and away from the car carrier.
Hopefully a tire or two will pop from the heat anchoring the car in place though the trans should hold it.

Typical extinguisher isn't going to help in this case

This should be an excellent reminder to check the condition of your extinguisher in your tow vehicle and trailer.

I'm with Chris on this. The trucks are a dime a dozen.  Hopefully the vehicle in tow survived another day.

Well. A F450 towing rig is about a million dimes.    ;D

Point taken!  However, I'm sure they had full coverage. They are still available.  Either way, not a good day!
