Looks good,  Racing and dog as a narrator.  Wish I had've thought of it myself.
"Low she sits on five spoke wheels
Small block eight so live she feels
There she's parked beside the curb
Engine revving to disturb
She's the princess from his past
Red paint gold stripes damned she's fast"

Looks worth watching. Goldens - they're the best!

Bring tissues to the theater. Started reading the novel and there were tears in the first two pages.

FYI: Book was published in 2008.

FYI Addendum: Reason why the track and race scenes are authentic is that one producer Patrick Dempsey is a racer with 4 Le Mans starts in addition to 64 other professional starts.

I will see the movie and then get the book.  It comes out August 8, 2019.  Dogs and cars.  And romance I suppose.  Can't go wrong with this one.  I've heard good things about the book.  Patrick Dempsey will make it all count.  What Ferrari is that near the end of the trailer?

Judging from the title several F1 drivers could have used some pointers this last weekend.

Looked like a late 50's 250 Testa Rosa in the trailer I saw.

The book was WONDERFUL!!! I hope the movie does not vary too much.

Look for car shirts in the movie audience

(raising my hand) no dog here.

AutoWeek had a pretty good article in their email about the movie:

I thought that I read [elsewhere?] that the author raced a Miata?
Definitely looking forward to seeing this one  8)

Love me some pups!  I have two dogs - a Great Pyrenees and a Bernese Mountain Dog... and I live in Texas.  Go figure!  ::)

It's funny that this movie came up on the forum, as my wife and one of my daughters have both read the book and have been encouraging me to see the movie with them; which sounds like a must - in a good way.  :D
Nothing beats a classic!

I had dogs years ago, do not have any now, we took in a cat, she was left out with no front claws, about 7 years ago, we did not take her in officially until 5 years ago when the people that had her up and moved away. I can tell you being a dog person, this cat has given me just as much joy to which she has that same personality as that dog has in the movie. The sad part with our cat is she is now 14 years old, so our time with her has not been long.

She loves rides in the cars and like to be on my lap with her paws on the steering wheel!

I cannot see this movie, I will be the biggest crier there!

I'm having trouble convincing my wife that "she wants to see it"... but still working on it  ::)
