RE: Day 2 and "wrong" in same sentence. Those were improvements. Fatter tires better handling different color and stereos buyer preference. Not a concours guy. Prefer that everyone enjoy their car to the fullest. Those "mods" are part of the history of the car and correct for it. Too many are becoming 100 point museum pieces. The only one having fun with those is the transport driver who sneaks it off the trailer 1/2 way to the next show and burns a little rubber.
there was a '34 Ford body mounted on a 427 Cobra chassis that had an SOHC in it. It was sold and built up into a stock 427 Cobra, but the chassis number was obliterated and no one has been able to ID what it might have originally been.
