68 convertible 4 speed black console

Looking for a black console for a 68 4 speed convertible.  Would love to find a nice original but would also take a quality repro.  Has anyone seen/compared the ones offered by Branda to an original?  Are they exact replicas?  Leads/thoughts appreciated.
