Great back story! Really the beginning of the end for Ferrari at LeMans.

Some of this is in the book by A.J. Baime; Go Like Hell: Ford, Ferrari, and Their Battle for Speed and Glory at Le Mans.

This should be what the new movie is based on, great book and cannot recommend it enough to all to read. It will show the manipulative side of Enzo and crew.

As many know Masten Gregory and Shelby were very good racing friends shared an apartment when racing in Europe before that both made the "big time" and Ed Hugus was instrumental in getting Shelby's first Cobras in the states and running.

Also, any one that's never heard of John Sutrees and his roll in this and how he was treated by the Ferrari camp.
